I have always loved lyrics more than melody and rhythm. With “Glitter” I don’t feel that way. I love the synth, piano, bass line and guitar -all of it. When I listen to this song I can’t help but feel light and daydream like.
The song comes in strong and you feel that firework, that spark. Then it slows down and you get a sense of apprehension. Maybe she doesn’t feel the same. Maybe I’ve romanticized something that shouldn’t be.

Regardless, I”m sinking and I don’t want to be saved. I want to ride it out.

This song isn’t super deep or anything. I just like it a lot. It’s always in the top 10 songs that I listen to every year.
This photograph was taken in April 2019. I shot this for an assignment. The class had to print an image of anything we wanted and take a shot with it. But we had to physically alter the image. I decided to print out some clear blue water. I then burned most of the print and then found a bush with blooming flowers to place it on. I think people really enjoyed this shot.
