My friend Rachel Gravens and I decided to collaborate on a playlist photo stream. I felt that it would be good practice to challenge my routine photo-taking-procedure. I normally photograph whatever I feel like photographing and then I study the image. As a thought or idea rolls along I then glue a song to the image. It can be as simple and uncoordinated as that. Rachel and I both decided to then work backwards. We first created a playlist with nine songs that we felt went along well together and could flow as a well made playlist. Secondly, we took turns in photographing details, sceneries and large subject in downtown Tucson, AZ. Lastly, we made our own edits on Photoshop to balance out our light-tones mid-tones and dark-tones
I enjoyed creating with Rachel. She’s a talented artist and a badass human.
The second, third and fourth photographs were captured by Rachel. They are my favorite frames from our project.
